Weitere Details:: Cyclic nucleotides are important second messengers that regulate and mediate a number of cellular responses to extracellular signals, such as hormones, light, and neurotransmitters. Cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases (PDEs) regulate the cellular concentrations of cyclic nucleotides and thereby play a role in signal transduction. PDE4A is a class IV cAMP-specific PDE (summary by Milatovich et al., 1994 [PubMed 8009369]). Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa2-825 from human PDE4A10, fused to GST-tag at N-terminal, expressed in a Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system. Molecular Weight: ~117kD Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Specific Activity: ~29,021pmol/min/ug Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
