- MaxLight™550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™546, 555, DyLight™549 , Cy3™, TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (550nm); Emission (575nm); Extinction Coefficient 150,000. Proteinase inhibitor 9 (PI-9, also designated cytoplasmic antiproteinase 3, or CAP3) is a 42kD member of the ovalbumin family of serpins that is expressed in placenta, lung and cytotoxic lymphocytes. PI-9 is a potent inhibitor of granzyme B and of granzyme B-mediated apoptosis, and is also an inhibitor of capase-1 and, to a smaller extent, caspase-4 and caspase-8. PI-9 expression is also upregulated in response to inflammatory stimuli. This upregulation protects cells from apoptosis induced by endogenously expressed or released granzyme B, particulary during target cell killing. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 3ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Caution: MaxLight™550 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
