- This protein is similar to ING1, a tumor suppressor protein that can bind TP53, inhibit cell growth, and induce apoptosis. This protein binds phosphoinositides (PtdInPs) at its plant homeodomain (PHD) domain and it acts as a PtdInPs receptor. PtdInPs binding regulates the ability of this protein to activate TP53 and TP53-dependent apoptosis. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
