- FITM3 is a 14.6kD (predicted) member of the CD225 family of proteins. It is expressed on primordial germ cells and select tumor types, and appears to regulate cell migration. Human IFITM3 is a 133aa, two-transmembrene protein that contains an N-terminal aa1-57 and a C-terminal aa108-128 extracellular domain. Over aa3-57, human IFITM3 is 59% and 56% aa identical to bovine and mouse IFITM3, respectively. Over aa3-57 human IFITM3 is 88% identical to human IFITM2. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
