- MaxLight™550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™546, 555, DyLight™549 , Cy3™, TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (550nm); Emission (575nm); Extinction Coefficient 150,000. FAF1 (Fas-associated protein factor 1) specifically interacts with the cytoplasmic domain of wild type, but not mutated, Fas in both yeast and mammalian cells. When transiently expressed in T cells, FAF1 potentiates Fas-induced apoptosis. In contrast to TRADD, FADD, and RIP, FAF1 lacks a DDH (Death domain homologous region) and cannot induce apoptosis independent of Fas activation. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 30ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Caution: MaxLight™550 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
