- Transcriptional activator which is processed and activated during endoplasmic reticulum stress late phase. Binds to the cAMP response element (CRE) and activates transcription through CRE. Regulates the transcription of unfolded protein response target genes, preventing accumulation of unfolded proteins in damaged neurons. Also regulates the expression of SEC23A, accelerating protein trafficking from the ER to the Golgi thereby playing a key role in chondrocyte differentiation and formation of epiphyseal cartilage. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
