- Autocrine motility factor (AMF) is a protein secreted by tumor cells that stimulates tumor motility. The gene for AMFR encodes a 323aa polypeptide that has a single transmembrane domain and several putative glycosylation sites. The protein sequence has some homology to human tumor protein p53. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
