- AMOZ (3-amino-5-morpholinomethyl-2-oxazolidinone) is the major stable tissue-bound metabolite of the synthetic nitrofuran antibiotic furaltadone. It is primarily utilized in competitive ELISA tests and screening assays to monitor food safety and ensure animal-derived products are free of nitrofuran drug residues. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immune colloidal gold and Immunochromatography. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
