Weitere Details:: Diphtheria toxin CRM197 mutant from C. diphtheriae is an inactive and non-toxic version of diphtheria toxin. It contains a single base change in the structural gene resulting in the substitution of glutamic acid for glycine which blocks ADP-ribosylation.Diphtheria toxin CRM197 mutant has no enzymatic activity but is immunologically indistinguishable from diphtheria toxin. Formulations containing diphtheria toxin CRM197 mutant have been used as carriers of conjugated polysaccharides in the development of vaccines against encapsulated bacterial pathogens. Extinction Coeffcient: 0.93 Solubility: Water Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
