Weitere Details:: Nitrotyrosine can be detected in proteins from a variety of tissues usually in association with pathological conditions. Reaction of nitric oxide with superoxide produces peroxynitrite, which can undergo heterolytic cleavage into nitronium and hydroxyl ions. Nitration of tyrosine residues by nitronium ion forms nitrotyrosine groups in the respective proteins. Nitrotyrosine is thus a marker for inflammation-associated tissue damage. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (paraffin/frozen): 10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Controls: Western Blot: NO2-BSA, NO2-HSA. Immunohistochemistry: colon cancer epithelium, prostate hyperplasia. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
