Weitere Details:: Leukocyte common antigen is expressed exclusively on the surface of hematolymphoid cells and their progenitors, including T and B lymphocytes, granulocytes, monocytes, and macrophages. Mature erythrocytes and megakaryocytes do not express CD45. The CD45 antibody is an important component of the antibody panel used to distinguish hematolymphoid neoplasms from non-hematolymphoid neoplasms, including undifferentiated or anaplastic large cell tumors (malignant lymphoma, melanoma, and carcinoma). In a study of nasophryngeal biopsies, LCA staining was positive for all malignant melanomas and negative for all nasopharyngeal carcinomas. LCA may be used together with cytokeratin antibodies to identify the cell-lineage of anaplastic tumors, demonstrating the ability to identify lymphoma and carcinoma in up to 88% of cases in a single study. Consists of a mixture of three monoclonal antibodies: CD45, CD45RA and CD45RB. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1-5ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: paraffin. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
