- Neutrophils are key components of the inflammatory response and as such contribute to the killing of microorganisms. In addition, recent evidence suggests their involvement in the development of the immune response. The Nimp-R14 mAb displays features of an optimal reagent allowing the selective depletion of mouse neutrophils in vivo. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Neutralization, Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:100 Immunohistochemistry (frozen/paraffin): 1:200 Immunocytochemistry: 1:200 Functional (Blocking): 250ug/mouse (depletes neutrophils and monocytes in vivo) Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Endotoxin: <0.1EU/ug (LAL test; Lonza) Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
