- IL-17A exhibits multiple biological activities on a variety of cells including the induction of IL-6 and IL-8 production in fibroblsts, the enhancement of surface expression of ICAM-1 in fibroblast, activation of NF-kappaB and costimulation of T cell proliferation. Induces stromal cells to produce proinflammatory and hematopoietic cytokines. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
