Weitere Details:: Necessary for the complete degradation of mRNAs, both in normal mRNA turnover and in nonsense-mediated mRNA decay. Removes the 7-methyl guanine cap structure from mRNA fragments shorter than 10 nucleotides that are produced by 3'->5' exosome-mediated mRNA decay. Releases m7GMP. Can also degrade m7GDP to m7GMP. Has no activity towards mRNA molecules longer than 25 nucleotides. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
