- A2ML1 is a new member of the alpha 2-macroglobulin protease inhibitor family, and shares most the characteristics of this family. It is the first family member detected in the epidermis and may play an important role during desquamation by inhibiting extracellular proteases. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000 Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
