Weitere Details:: Human telomerase reverse transcriptase is the catalytic subunit of the telomerase. It is also responsible for addition of TTAGGG repeats to the telomere ends of the chromosome, which is important in maintaining cell immortality. In most normal human cells the expression of hTERT is very low. On the other hand, greater than 90% of human tumors of different pathology and origins have been shown to upregulate telomerase expression, making hTERT cancer-associated target. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human lymph node tissue lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
