- Biotium's goat anti-human IgA (A Alpha chain) is labeled with CF®488A dye. CF® dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Green fluorescent CF®488A dye has excitation/emission at 490/515 nm. It is prepared from antibodies purified by human IgA-affinity chromatography. The antibodies react specifically with IgA heavy chains (A Alpha chains) and not with immunoglobulin light chains. To minimize cross-reactivity, it has been adsorbed against human IgG prior to conjugation.
