- Crotonaldehyde BSA Conjugate is used to study the impact of lipid peroxidation-derived aldehydes on neural function. Crotonaldehyde, a byproduct of oxidative stress and environmental exposure, forms stable adducts with lysine residues, altering protein structure and function. In the brain, crotonaldehyde accumulation is associated with mitochondrial dysfunction, impaired proteostasis, and neuroinflammation.
