- RIV9 reacts with the TCR/CD3 complex on T-cells. Primary signals received through this complex determine the specificity of immune reactions by selecting particular antigen/MHC-responsive clones. CD3 is of variable mass with five invariable chains (25-28, 20 and 16 kDa). RIV9 was used for research in vivo in humans because it is of the unusual IgG3 subtype. Positive control: human tonsil.
