Methyltetrazine-Sulfo-NHS Ester is a reagent of choice for applications that cannot tolerate organic co-solvents or are complicated by their inclusion. Specific labeling of cell surface proteins is another common application for these uniquely water-soluble and membrane impermeable reagents.
