- Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Neutralization. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (Sandwich): 2-4ug/ml using 100ul/well will detect at least 200pg/ml of recombinant human NGFb when used with a biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human b-NGF as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 0.5-1.0ug/ml. Western Blot: 4-8ug/ml when used with compatible secondary regeants. The dtection limit is 4-8ng/ml under reducing or non-reducing conditions. Neutralization: 2.7-4ug/ml yields one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of human NGFb (10ng/ml). Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
