- Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000. A band of 95-110kD has been detected in brush border membrane (2). ELISA: 1:10,000-50,000. Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1ug/ml. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

- A 21aa synthetic peptide within the 1st extracellular loop (between TM1-2) of Human NPT2a (126-146 aa) was synthesized, conjugated to KLH. Species sequence homology: rat, mouse, sheep and opossum-100%, rabbit-95%, zebra fish-85% and frog- 71%. The sequence also has significant sequence homology (~65%) with mouse, rat and human Type-IIb transporters.
