- Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: 50ug/ml stains PLP fixed cultured cells known to express the Muscarinic Receptor M4. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS, 10mg/ml BSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

- Shown to be specific for the COOH terminal of the M4 receptor. Crossreactivity: M4 Muscarinic Receptor (aa469-478): 100%, M4 Muscarinic Receptor: ~70%. No reacivity is observed with M1-M3, M5 (full receptors), M1 (aa451-460), M2 (aa457-466), M3 Muscarinic Receptor (aa580-589), M5 (aa519-531).
