- Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Neutralization. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (Sandwich): 0.5-2ug/ml (100ul/well). Using in conjunction with I8433-03, as a detection antibody, the detection limit of ~0.2-0.4ng/well. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit is 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Neutralization: 0.02-0.05ug/ml. To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of human IL-11 (1.50ng/ml). Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
