- Interleukin-3 (IL-3) is a cytokine produced by activated T-cells and mast cells that is active on a broad range of hematopoietic cells and in the nervous system and appears to be important in several chronic inflammatory diseases. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunofluorescence, Flow cytometry, and Neutralization. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Useful for intracytoplasmic staining and flow cytometric analysis to identify and enumerate IL-3-positive cells within mixed cell populations. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
