Weitere Details:
Interleukin-2 is a potent immunoregulatory lymphokine produced by T-cells in response to antigenic or mitogenic stimulation. IL-2/IL-2R signaling is required for T-cell proliferation and other fundamental functions which are essential for the immune response. IL-2 stimulates growth and differentiation of B-cells, NK cells, lymphokine activated killer cells, monocytes, macrophages and oligodendrocytes. Human IL-2 is a 15.5kD protein containing 134 amino acid residues including one intrachain disulfide bond. Recombinant protein corresponding to human Interleukin-2 expressed in E. coli. Biological Activity: The ED50 as determined by the dose dependent stimulation of murine CTLL-2 cells is ≤0.1ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of ≥ 1x10e7u/mg. AA Sequence: MAPTSSSTKK TQLQLEHLLL DLQMILNGIN NYKNPKLTRM LTFKFYMPKK ATELKHLQCL EEELKPLEEV LNLAQSKNFH LRPRDLISNI NVIVLELKGS ETTFMCEYAD ETATIVEFLN RWITFCQSII STLT Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with acetic acid. For long term storage add 0.1% carrier protein. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
