- Human Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is a monomeric immunoglobulin, built of two heavy chains γ and two light chains. Each molecule has two antigen binding sites. Human Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is the most abundant immunoglobulin and is approximately equally distributed in blood and in tissue liquids. Applications: Suitable for use as antigen or ligand in immunochemical reactions, as a control or standard in immunological assays, Conjugation, ELISA, Western Blot. Protein: ≥4.5g/dL (5% solution - Biuret) pH (5%): As Reported Sodium (5%): As Reported Potassium (5%): As Reported Chloride (5%): As Reported Calcium (5%) As Reported Bioburden: <100 CFU/mL (5% solution) Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute by adding sterile PBS. Aliquot and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
