- A healthy non-immunized population of adult donkeys (mixed sex) was used to collect serum. IgG was prepared by ammonium sulfate, and column chromatography (Sephadex, and DEAE-ion exchange columns).The resulting preparation was judged to be >95% pure by IEP and SDS- PAGE. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA for coating or as a non-immune control for ELISA, Dot Blot, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
