- Weitere Details:
- Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), which is synthesized during development in the fetal gut, and is re-expressed in increased amounts in intestinal carcinomas and several other tumors. Anti-CEA is reportedly useful in identifying the origin of various metastatic adenocarcinomas and in distinguishing pulmonary adenocarcinomas (60-70% are CEA+) from pleural mesotheliomas (rarely or weakly CEA+). Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 2ug/ml. Our matched pair anti-CEA antibody. Western Blot: 25ng/ml antigen can be detected using 100ng/ml antibody. Immunohistochemistry: 20ug/ml using breast cancer tissue sections treated by heat-induced epitope retrieval. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Matched Pair: Capture: C1299-87D Dectection: C1299-87X Hybridoma: Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
