- Recombinant protein corresponding to human Brain Natriuretic Peptide (BNP), a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 32aa, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~3.5kD (32aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Amino Acid Sequence: SPKMVQGSGCFGRKMDRISSSSGLGCKVLRRH Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O, 0.1% BSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
