- Troponin T is a part of the troponin complex. It binds to tropomyosin, interlocking them to form a troponin-tropomyosin complex. Troponin T binds to tropomyosin and helps position it on actin. And in a less complicated light, Troponin T modulates contraction of striated muscle Source: Purified native Human Troponin T protein (Cardiac) Storage and Stability: May be stored at -20°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
