- Troponin T is a part of the troponin complex. It binds to tropomyosin, interlocking them to form a troponin-tropomyosin complex. Troponin T binds to tropomyosin and helps position it on actin. It also modulates contraction of striated muscle. The tissue specific subtypes are slow skeletal troponin T1, cardiac troponin T2, and fast skeletal troponin T3. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Titer: ELISA: 1:30,000 Recommended Pair: Capture: T8665-22 Detection: 227227 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
