- Endothelial-Monocyte Activating Polypeptide-II (EMAP-II) is a tumor derived cytokine that is an anti-angiogenic factor in tumor vascular development, and strongly inhibits tumor growth. Recombinant protein corresponding to 166aa residues from human EMAP II, expressed in E. coli. Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to induce apoptosis in MCF-7 cells using a concentration range of 20-30ng/ml.
