- Vimentin belongs to the intermediate filament family. It is highly expressed in mesenchymal cells and has been used as a specific mesenchymal marker. Vimentin has a role in cytoskeletal organization and cell morphology. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 0.5ml, 1x10e6 cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Mouse myeloma cells with B cells from Balb/c rats. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at 12 months at 4°C. Freezing allophycocyanin conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. Allophycocyaninconjugates are sensitive to light.
