- Interleukin 27 (IL-27) is a heterodimeric cytokine comprised of the IL-12 p35-related protein, p28, and the IL-12 p40-related protein, EBI3 (Epstein-Barr virus-induced gene 3). IL-27 binds TCCR/WSX-1 on naïve CD4+ T cells and induces the expression of a functional IL-12 receptor, making these cells sensitive to IL-12-mediated Th1 cell development. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 0.5ml, 1x10e6 cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Mouse myeloma cells with B cells from Balb/c rats. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. PerCP conjugates are sensitive to light.
