- A novel putative serine/threonine kinase substrate gene (TSKS, for testis-specific kinase substrate) is likely the human homolog of the mouse testis-specific serine kinase substrate gene. TSKS exhibits high levels of expression exclusively in human testicular tissue. The expression of TSKS is downregulated in cancerous testicular tissue, in comparison to adjacent normal tissue. Source: AFP, from human cord serum. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
