- Source: Human plasma Triglyceride Ratio: ≥3.0 (Triglycerides/Total Cholesterol) Triglycerides: ≥12,000mg/dL (Enzymatic) Total Cholesterol: ≤6,000 mg/dL (Enzymatic) Appearance: Supplied as a yellow to orange liquid. Dilute in 150mM sodium chloride. Storage and Stability: Thaw quickly, in a 37°C water bath, removing as soon as thawed Store at 4°C for up to one week. Dilute with 0.15M sodium chloride. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
