- B220 is the mouse CD45 isoform CD45R, which is predominantly expressed on all B lymphocytes, including pro-, mature and activated B cells (1‑3). The level of B220 antigen expression on the B cell lineage is developmentally regulated (2‑4) and this antibody is commonly used as a B cell marker. 045854 has been reported to inhibit in vivo B cell responses (5, 6). Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells using mouse splenocytes Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
