The antibody detects a 120kDa* protein corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of Sema-6A on SDS-PAGE immunoblots of Sema-6A transfected COS7 cells, human colorectal cancer cells, and rat PC12 cells. In addition, shRNA knockdown of Sema-6A expression significantly reduces detection of Sema-6A using anti-Sema-6A (C-terminus) antibody.

Western blot of Sema-6A in human colorectal cancer (CRC) cells treated with control (shC) or Sema-6A (shSema6A) shRNAs. Sema-6A was immunoprecipitated from each of the CRC lysates using Sema-6A (a.a. 772-787) or Sema-6A (C-terminus) antibody, then the blotted immunoprecipitations were probed with Sema-6A antibody.
