- The PuroSPIN™ Plant Genomic DNA Purification Kit is designed to purify genomic DNA from variety of plant species and tissues types. This use of the kit greatly simplifies the purification process by incorporating a convenient and easy-to-use extraction technology based on nucleic acid binding to silica spin-columns which eliminates the use of toxic phenol-chloroform extraction or time consuming alcohol precipitation. Features: - Fast - DNA extraction/purification procedure is completed under 60 min - High quantity/quality - Typically up to 50 µg of DNA from 100 mg of sample with excellent ratios of A260/280 (≥ 1.7) and A260/230 (≥ 2.0) - Compatible - extraction/purification of DNA can be perform on variety of plant samples (leafs, steams, roots, seeds, etc.) - Safe - no toxic organic extractions
