Induces GKAP42 protein degradation in adipocytes which is partially responsible for TNF-induced insulin resistance.Plays a role in angiogenesis by inducing VEGF production synergistically with IL1B and IL6.Promotes osteoclastogenesis and therefore mediates bone resorption.
