- ATP synthase is comprised of 2 major units, the Fo and F1. Five different subunits make up the F1 unit: 3 A Alpha, 3 B Beta, 1 D Delta, 1 G Gamma, and 1 E Epsilon subunits. The A Alpha and B Beta subunit are localized to the mitochondrial and plasma membranes and the B Beta subunit is thought to be involved in the satiation response through binding to enterostatin. \n \n \n \nApplications \n \n \nWestern Blots \n \n Visualize the alpha subunits in cells (immunofluorescence) and tissue (immunohistochemistry) \n \nStorage \n \n Store at 4 °C for up to 30 days.
