- GH-releasing peptides (GHRPs) are synthetic peptides that like GHRH act directly on pituitary somatotrophs to stimulate GH release. Growth hormone (GH) release is stimulated by a variety of synthetic secretagogues; of which growth hormone-releasing hexapeptide (GHRP-6) has been most thoroughly studied; it is thought to have actions at both pituitary and hypothalamic site. Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-6 Synthetic is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 6 amino acids and a Molecular formula of C46H56N12O6.

- It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized GHRP-6 in sterile 18M-omega-cm H2O not less than 100 ug/mL; which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. Lyophilized Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-6 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks; should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution GHRP-6 should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
