Dihydrofolate; tetrahydrofolate; 5;10-methylenetetrahydrofolate; 10-formyltetrahydrofolate and 5-formyltetrahydrofolate are the best substrates. Folic acid and 5-methyltetrahydrofolate can also act as substrates.
