Deoxynulceoside kinases catalyze the phosphorylation of deoxyribonucleosides to yield corresponding monophosphates (dNMPs). This family consists of various deoxynucleoside kinases including deoxyribocytidine kinase (dCK); deoxyriboguanosine kinase(dGK); cytosolic thymidine kinase(TK1) and mitochondrial thymidine kinase (TK2).
