The HLA-A*01:01 allele is a prevalent human MHC class I variant, and its peptide-binding specificity determines the immune response in individuals carrying this allele. MAGEA3 is a member of the Melanoma-Associated Antigen family, characterized by its restricted expression in normal tissues (primarily testes and placenta) but frequent re-expression in various tumors, such as melanoma, lung cancer, and others.
