Recombinant Human Protocadherin-10 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Gln19-Thr715 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Protocadherin-10 (PCDH10) is a single-pass type I membrane protein that contains six extracellular cadherin domains; one transmembrane domain and one cytoplasmic tail differing from those of the classical cadherins. As a potential calcium-dependent cell-adhesion neuronal receptor; it may plays a role in the establishment and function of specific cell-cell connections in the brain. PCDH10 moderately expressed in all regions of the brain examined; as well as in testis and ovary; and low expression in all other tested tissues.
