- Source: Human Cells. MW :60.75kD. Recombinant Human Vasorin is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Cys24-Pro575 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Vasorin is a Type I membrane protein; which is predominantly expressed in vascular smooth muscle cells in a developmentally regulated pattern. The expression level of Vasorin can be down regulated during vessel repair after arterial injury. Vasorin binds to transforming growth factor beta (TGF- beta) and attenuates TGF- beta signaling in vitro.
