DDR2 whose ligand is fibrillar collagen rather than a growth factor-like peptide is unique among RTKs. DDR2 regulates cell differentiation; remodeling of the extracellular matrix; cell migration and cell proliferation. DDR2 is also essential for normal bone development.DDR2 Human Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single; glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 386 amino acids (22-399a.a) and having a molecular mass of 43.7kDa. (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 40-57kDa).DDR2 is fused to 8 amino acid His-tag at C-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
