UBE2D2 takes part in the ubiquitination of the tumor-suppressor protein p53; which is induced by an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase. UBE2D2 catalyzes ubiquitination of IkB-alpha in a SCFB-TRCP and phosphorylation dependent method.UBE2D2 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 147 amino acids (1-147) and having a molecular mass of 16.7kDa. The UBE2D2 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
